Frequently Asked Questions

Go to Rounds, click on an open round (one whose deadline hasn't passed), and enter a predicted score for each match. You also need to pick two countries and two players. Hit Save before the deadline.

Each round you pick two countries and two players. You earn bonus points whenever your picked teams or players score goals — more for goals in extra time than regulation, and 1 point per penalty in a shootout. See the Rules page for the full breakdown.

No — your picks carry over from the previous round automatically. You only need to act if you want to change them. Each change (per country or player) costs one transfer, and you have a total of 10 transfers for the whole competition.

A transfer is used whenever you change a country or player pick from one round to the next. You have 10 transfers in total across the entire competition, so use them wisely — running out early means you could be stuck with an eliminated team or player.

The deadline is the kickoff time of the first match in the round. After that, all predictions and picks for that round are locked. The deadline is shown on the Rounds page for each round.

No — once the deadline passes, predictions and picks are locked. Whatever you had submitted before the deadline will count; if you submitted nothing, you earn zero for that round.

  • 2 points for getting the exact score correct (based on the 90-minute result only).
  • 1 point for getting the right outcome (win/draw) but the wrong score.
  • 0 points for a wrong outcome.
These points are then multiplied by the round's multiplier (×1 in the group stage, up to ×16 in the Final).

No — always predict the score after regulation 90 minutes only, even in knockout rounds. A draw prediction is completely valid in a knockout round, since the match may well be level at 90 minutes.

In knockout rounds, match-ups aren't confirmed until the previous round finishes. If you carried a pick forward from a prior round and that team hasn't qualified yet, your pick is still held — it will score points if the team qualifies and plays. You can replace it with a confirmed team at any time before the deadline.

On the round picks page, each player pick has a Filter by country dropdown above it. Select a country there to narrow the player list to that country's squad. You can also type directly into the player dropdown to search by name.

Your country and player picks for the 3rd/4th place match (Round H) automatically apply to the Final (Round I) as well. You set them once on the Round H page before the single shared deadline. The two matches have very different point multipliers, so your picks matter for both.
